Corning War Memorial Library

  • Commercial & Adaptive Reuse
  • 149 Pine St, Corning, NY
  • Budget:
    $1,800,000

The Corning War Memorial Library, an 1897 Pierce & Bickford-designed Carnegie Library, had been vacant for many years. J-S&A redesigned the building for use as housing. The outstanding interior millwork, fireplaces, and mantels were restored, as were many of its original features.

The rehabilitation is credited to a Federal and State Historic Preservation Tax Credit Project.
